Chair conference at ENAC, december the 13th 2017

MM Sharples and Jestin held a conference in ENAC Toulouse premises to give an overview on the Chair activities and ongoing projects. This event gathered students, ENAC staff, researchers, professionnals, and we’ve had the opportunity to host members from SESAR-JU and the Japan UAS Industrial Developement Association.

Inserting UAVs in non segregated airspace: review, ongoing projects and perspectives

The French Civil Aviation University (ENAC) invite you to attend to a conference taking place during the International Paris Air Show 2017 taking place in Le Bourget.

date of the conference: thursday june the 22th 2017, from 16:00 to 17:00 (Forum Avion des métiers).

Founded in june 2015, the « ENGIE Ineo – Groupe ADP – SAFRAN RPAS Chair », it the first of its kind to tackle the drones insertion in airspace challenges, aiming at the development of procedures and standards allowing the operation of drone systems, and paving the way to novel civil uses of drones in a national and international context.

M. Yannick Jestin, holder of the Chair and ENAC’s drone research program manager will describe the progress of the projects. This conference will be an opportunity to foster exchanges between players of this emerging sector.
